Enjoy the day is the right mindset for summer. I was supposed to be in central Texas on the frio river right now. But work had other plans. And apparently so did Mother Nature. The Frio River at Concan (where our trip was scheduled) is underwater right now. The river is impassable flooded beyond its banks. Sometimes things don’t work out. It’s hard to know if it’s good or bad until you examine it in retrospect. Which is impossible at the time when you need to make that decision. What’s bad one day can turn into good the next.
