Watching mission impossible 8 reminds me of the incessant urge for companies and their managers to chase dollars at every possible opportunity. This is ultimately the downfall of creativity, the same movie that did well once should do well 8-9 more times. From the variance in flavor of corn chips to the different iterations of a basic movie plot. We have so many choices, so many flavors. Has me thinking about myself. Am I the first? Or an iteration. Am I a scam? If I were to come across myself as an artist I would not understand why all these portrait lessons are free? Who is mike packer and what is his ultimate plan? To ease your mind I will assure you, I have no ill Intent. You have enough to worry about, as do I. Every thing I do I ask myself is this a scam? Are these people legit? Is this expensive perfume really some exotic unicorn blood fermented with fairy sweat and berries from Ithaca? For a merchant selling is the whole game. Sometimes selling anything is more important than earning the trust of the people. However i understand trust doesn’t pay the bills or buy yachts for that matter. You have to be on guard 110% of the time. Every phone call, every email message, when you look for insurance, energy providers, buying a car or even food. For every industry that exists there are scammers who will try to head you off at the pass. What can we do about it?

We can start by looking at what is a scam exactly. The definition isn’t hard to guess. We all know when we’ve been scammed. However clever we are we still let those lil scams go without a reaction or even a response. We are slowly becoming more and more used to unusual things that do not benefit us as a whole. Paying more for less, getting promised things that we won’t have. We need to feel like we are in control of our lives, and when we are scammed it’s someone else manipulating us to some end, leaving us not in control of our own lives. the. Scams we experience on a daily basis are there to keep us on our toes I guess. We have been scammed by the largest companies and the smallest door to door banana bread salesman. The banana bread salesman is also a victim of a scam. The need to be accepted can make you more susceptible to scams. The greediness people experience can make us vulnerable. For every feeling or emotion we have there is a scammer willing to monetize it. One of the only places you can feel safe from scammers is eating a meal prepared for you by a loved one maybe reading a good book snuggled up with a sweet furry friend, Watching a show or talking with friends. When I think about the need to monetize I want it to be like that sort of feeling when people buy my art. Artwork should be viewed as an investment. The price of the artwork will always rise. The feeling, the thoughts and the joy it gives you will remain. The love you have for the painting you buy from me will be carried on by those who love you. The painting becomes part of our daily lives hanging silently on our walls. For the opportunity to be a part of your life I am happy to offer you a piece of mine.

I hope you would consider a purchase of original artwork, thanks for being here.
