That brings my total number of episodes to 337. That’s a lot of live stream portraits. I really enjoy it. The comments are hilarious. The viewers are so clever watching the comments from chat can be difficult though. I can only look down occasionally and see,so I’m sure I miss most of them. So if I’ve missed one of your comments, I apologize. I try to do the portrait as fast as I can, and still maintain some level of accuracy. The reason I try to move quickly is just so that I don’t lose your attention. Sometimes I focus on getting the exact color. Sometimes I focus on getting the proportions right or the expression sometimes just an overall feel . so there’s lots of different approaches that I’ve taken over the past year when I describe my portrait painting method. I like to sprinkle in some art history whenever I can. Although I’m no expert on art history, I have memorized several notable events and I’m familiar with my favorite artists . I try to stay away from Political talk and there more towards something we can all get appreciate, which is creativity. And appreciation for the artwork that humans make, and the potential they possess to make artwork. In order to be creative and make artwork you have to have some understanding of things in order to properly convey your ideas. with understanding inevitably comes empathy. That empathy can potentially change your world view and if everyone’s worldview changes a little bit for the better because of artwork well then that’s a good thing.. if this is your first time here, thanks for coming.
